Charleston on my mind…
ByI just wanted to let you all know that I will not be posting for a few days to take in the charming city of Charleston, SC. I can’t wait to visit the Historic District with the antebellum homes, row houses, historical buildings, and history.
I am told everything is in bloom, so hoping for some garden tours as well. Trying to decide which of the many plantation tours to take. Any suggestions from those who have been there?
We will also be traveling down the coast a bit to historic Beaufort as well. This is the city that has been in so many movies for it’s historic charm and seaside appeal. Oh, I can’t wait!
As you all know, I love good food, so I have also been reading a few reviews on where to dine and take in the flavors of the south. Sounds like great dining won’t be a problem, just enough days to take it all in!
Well, I will be “back” next week to share some photos, stories, and some tips on one of the great cities of our south. Till then….
